immaculately clean and huge hotel room with a comfortable bed and private bathroom. location close enough to the summit as well as the mountain. outstanding food in the restaurants such as grelhados da serra, located 5 min away.

We explored the Serra da Estrela National Park like bosses, taking on all the family trails with our crew. The guided trails were dope, and we even had a lit picnic right in the middle of the mountains. After all the adventure, our bodies were ready to chill, and the apartments at Abrigo Da Montanha were the bomb. It was the perfect place for young party-goers like us to relax and recharge for the next day's shenanigans.

The only thing we wished for was a little more party action at the hotel. We were ready to turn up and have a blast with our friends, but the vibe was more on the chill side.

I recently stayed at Abrigo Da Montanha Hotel Rural for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for visiting the tower, and I loved the cozy bar downstairs for a drink or coffee. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly kind. The restaurant served delicious meals for both breakfast and dinner, and the spa services, including the massage, were fantastic. I highly recommend enjoying the sauna and salt water pool as well.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our stay. They even made a special effort to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions, going out of their way to find gluten-free bread for her breakfast. The hotel's restaurant staff was also exceptional, providing excellent service and serving delicious food. We were impressed with the varied options available for breakfast, both hot and cold. The spa facilities were a highlight of our stay, and we enjoyed having the pool, sauna, and Turkish bath all to ourselves during our allotted time. Our room was spacious, modern, and met all of our needs. We had requested a room with a shower instead of a bath, and the hotel promptly responded to our email and provided an upgraded room with a walk-in shower for my in-laws. We look forward to returning to Abrigo Da Montanha Hotel Rural to explore more of the beautiful Serra da Estrela.
